Zvenigorod Health Hotel
The main venue of the conference will be the Zvenigorod health hotel of the Russian Academy of Sciences, located at outskirts of the old Russian town Zvenigorod (Moscow Region), at the right bank of the Moskva River, in 60 km from downtown Moscow.

The area around Zvenigorod belongs to the most picturesque parts of the Moscow region: its landscape is dominated with birch groves and pine forests, hills and valleys of the Moskva River and its subsidiaries. This region is also famous for unique historical and cultural monuments: the architectural ensemble of the Savvino-Storozhevski monastery, archeological sites, places related to biographies of famous writers, composers, artists, and politicians.

The health hotel owns 18 hectares of mixed, mainly pine, forest with quiet, picturesque places.

The participants will be accommodated in comfortable rooms of the health hotel. The rates for one night (meals included) are:
Suite (two rooms) Rbl. 5000.
Single Rbl. 1900.
Double (price for 2 persons) Rbl. 3000.

The LOC asks those participants who have not done it yet to specify the room category they desire immediately!

The memorial session will be held in Moscow, at the Sternberg Astronomical Institute.

Arrival and departure of participants

It is expected that most participants will arrive on Sunday, October 11. Participants arriving to Moscow on that day are asked to come to Sternberg Astronomical Institute (SAI), located in the campus of Moscow University (address: 13, University Avenue, close to the corner of Vernadsky Avenue). The registration desk for final registration will work at the SAI during the day. Approximately at 5 pm, a bus to the Zvenigorod Health Hotel will start from the SAI.

Participants planning to arrive to Moscow earlier than October 11 as well as those wishing to stay in Moscow after October 17 are requested to inform the LOC about their plans in advance (if you have not done it yet). They may book rooms in Moscow hotels by themselves using Internet or ask the LOC to help them with booking. From the Moscow railway stations, you can get to the Sternberg Institute by taxi (approximate cost: US $10–15). It is also possible to use metro. All the three railway stations in question have transfer metro stations close to them ("Byelorusskaya", "Paveletskaya", "Kievskaya"). The price of a single metro ride is Rbl. 22 (about US $0.7); it should be paid in Russian currency at the cash counter near the entrance to the metro station. We suggest that you take the circle (brown) line to "Park Kul'tury" station, make a change to the Sokol'nicheskaya (red) line there and go to the "Universitet" station. From there, you can walk according to the above map or take a trolleybus (No. 28, three stops towards the north-east). Trolleybus drivers sell one-ride tickets for Rbl. 25 (about US $0.8).
