PURPOSE AND SCOPECSR 2012 intends to reflect the broad scope of international cooperation in computer science. It is the seventh conference in a series of regular events started with CSR 2006 in St. Petersburg. The topics covered vary from year to year, but in general try to cover as much of the contemporary computer science as possible. CSR 2012 was included in schedule of the Alan Turing Year events.
TURING LECTURE Yuri Matiyasevich (PDMI RAS, Turing lecture) OPENING LECTURE Vijay Vazirani (Georgia Tech, opening lecture) ORGANIZERS N.I. Lobachevsky State University of Nizhny Novgorod, Russia is one of the leading classical universities in Russia. It was inaugurated on January 30, 1916. In 1956 the University was named after the great Russian mathematician Nikolai Lobachevsky. By the decision of the Russian Government, in 2009 UNN was awarded the status of a National Research University. More on conference venue.
