Only research works that have not previously been published and have not been presented for consideration to other conferences or journals are eligible for the conference. The papers can be submitted in Russian and in English. Each report included in the agenda of the scientific conference must be presented at the conference in person by at least one author.

Paper Formatting

Two types of works will be accepted for the conference: short paper and extended abstract. Works are accepted in Russian or in English.

  • short paper: 4-6 pages.
  • extended abstract: 1-2 pages.

    Papers must be prepared in MS Word and meet the template. The file with the paper (in * .docx format) must be uploaded via the web form on the page "Thesises". Submission deadlines are listed on the page Dates. The program committee has the right to reject without consideration the papers that do not meet the formatting requirements.

    Proceedings Publication

    Short papers and extended abstracts that have passed the review by the Program Committee and are included in the conference program will be published in the proceedings (sent for indexing to the RSCI). Proceedings are published in electronic form on the conference website.

    The best works (by the decision of the program committee) will be recommended (after editing in accordance with the rules of publication and an additional round of peer review) for publication in the special issues of the journals:

  • Lobachevskii Journal of Mathematics (indexed by Scopus);
  • Problems of Informatics (included in the list of the Higher Attestation Commission, indexed by RSCI).
    The approximate deadline for submission of materials to special issues is February 1, 2021. Detailed information on paper submission will be posted here later.

    Publication in Communications in Computer and Information Science series

    Based on the results of the conference, all participants who presented their reports will be given the opportunity to publish (after an additional round of peer review) an extended version of their paper in the Communications in Computer and Information Science series by Springer (indexed by Scopus).

    Two types of papers (in English) will be accepted for the issue:

  • long paper: original novel and unpublished work (12-15 pages in CCIS format)
  • short paper: an extended abstract of novel work (max. 6-8 pages in CCIS format)

    All papers must be submitted in PDF using EasyChair https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=mmst2020.

    Paper text must be prepared in LaTeX2e (MiKTeX package is recommended) in accordance with formatting rules of the Springer's Communications in Computer and Information Science series. Authors are recommended to use the CCIS template. Submission deadlines are indicated on the page Dates.
