Who can apply?MWA 2018 is open for MSc and PhD students, as well as young scientists holding a PhD degree. The main target group are applied mathematicians, biologists and economists, but we also welcome scholars from other disciplines, such environmental sciences etc. There are no specific entry requirements, but prior experience in mathematical modeling is necessary.
The courses will be given in English. An official certificate of your language proficiency is not required, but you should be at the upper-intermediate level in English at least in order to comfortably follow the lectures and participate in the class discussion.

Visa
All non-Russian students should thoroughly examine the regulations for visiting the Russian Federation. These regulations and procedures for obtaining a visa are available online at the Websites of the Russian embassies/consulates for your country of citizenship or residence.
The MWA 2018 organizers will send to each student their letter of acceptance and an official invitation to participate in MWA 2018.
Important! Please use the official invitation to MWA 2018 when applying for the visa. Please apply for the visa as early as possible. Processing your application may take several weeks. The MWA 2018 organizers are not in the position to provide assistance in the visa process. MWA 2018 will not refund your registration fee if your visa application is denied.
