The workshop is focused on teachers and specialists in the field of multicore architecture programming. The main objective of the workshop is to train professionals who will broadcast this knowledge further.
The workshop will provide an overview of Intel Xeon Phi architecture, the principles and the programming techniques for this architecture, and a description of the software tools used for Intel Xeon Phi programming. The course is based on the use of Intel ® Cluster Studio XE 2013 tool for developing applications that allows developers to create, debug, optimize the performance of applications run on the current and future generations of Intel Xeon and the Intel ® Xeon Phi ™ processors.
The workshop participants will get the access to the high performance RSC Tornado SUSU with Intel Xeon Phi accelerators that is installed in SUSU Supercomputer Center. They will be able to run and debug applications within the laboratory course. After completion of the course participants could pass the certification test in understanding the course material.
The list of the workshop participants will be formed on a competitive basis. The main priority will be given to academic staff that is expected to integrate the obtained information in their own courses for high school. Please fill this application by February 28 to participate in the competition.
