 Educational Program

Concept

EGMD-2011 offers an introductory lecture and an advanced course on mathematical aspects of economic growth. The course includes four lectures complemented by extended round table discussions.

A daily plan includes 4 hours of lectures and 4 hours of discussions.

Prominent scientists from Russia, Austria and USA will give the lectures.

The EGMD-2011 lecturers and MSU professors will moderate the discussions.

EGMD-2011 organizers will ask each student to propose one issue (ideally, related to the student’s research area) for a round table discussion. The Program Committee will select the most interesting issues and include them in the agendas of the round table discussions. Each author of the selected issues will be asked to present briefly her/his research area and the issue proposed to start the discussion.
