The aim of the School is to bring together leading specialists and young scientists working on various aspects of laser physics, photonics, polaritonics and quantum information science and discuss the most recent developments in this area. One of the objectives of this meeting is to create a full scale international cooperation of the scientists from Russia and oversea countries in the field of physics of light-matter coupling in the multidisciplinary subjects of Polaritonics, Material Science, Quantum Information Science, Photonics and Nanotechnology. This research field is of outstanding importance for the fundamental physics and it has multiple applications in micro- and nano-electronics and nanophotonics. This meeting would offer young researchers the chance to learn about the latest trends in modern Laser Physics and Photonics directly from the world recognized scientists who are actively engaged in the field. LP&P-2014 will include lectures of the invited scientists, plenary talks, oral and poster presentations of young scientists, laboratory tours and excursion.
